Six designers present designs tailored for incredibly specialized watches

The “power design project 2025” is an exercise created to encourage Seiko Watch Corporation’s in-house designers to deeply explore the essence of watches in a style different from their regular work and to generate innovative outputs.
Throughout its 140-year history, Seiko has introduced a wide range of watches tailored for various purposes, from divers’ watches to railroad watches.
This time, designers were challenged to create new concepts for “specialized watches.”
The “Incredibly Specialized Watches Exhibition 2” marks the second installment of this series, following the inaugural event held in January 2024.
For this exhibition, Seiko Watch Corporation’s designers imagined unique target users, including fictional characters, and explored endless possibilities with a blend of playfulness and dedication.
Through six themes and stories, they have crafted watches that bring their visions to life.
